Read my recent posts in peace and quiet. https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/plutonium-atom-universe Archimedes Plutonium Google's Plutonium Atom Universe newsgroup On the top of the page is a recent annoucement by Google executives saying this: In May of 2019, we'll be merging and deprecating some of our settings to make group management easier. AP writes: I think that was a mistake "deprecating" for that means "expressing disapproval" What would have been a proper term? How about this: In May of 2019, we'll be merging and deleting some of our settings....

"Deprecation" of a software interface means that it won't be supported indefinitely. In other words, sooner or later it won't work the way you expect. However, in the case of the PAU, the dictionary definition is probably very appropriate.

Not only is Erik Eastside a failure of reasoning in math and science but all over the place. His Howdy Doody mind cannot even spell depreciation from deprecation. And the fool thinks they are the same

His Howdy Doody mind cannot even spell depreciation from deprecation. And the fool thinks they are the same I didn't mention "depreciation". You did. Neither did the "Masters of Google". They are NOT the same. Has PAU really depreciated? Impossible!
