Re: AP wants to do one better on Ulam's Prime Spiral From: Archimedes Plutonium <plutonium....@gmail.com> Injection-Date: Sun, 23 Sep 2018 23:52:20 +0000 A new Prime Predictor called Conservation Equilibrium //My best prime predictor of years back has sigma error of 20%, what is Ulam's sigma error? Re: AP wants to do one better on Ulam's Prime Spiral CONSERVATION, Equilibrium Prime Pattern Re: Alright, last night I thought of a new prime predictor, better than my prior year-- heavily dense composite Let me call this new Prime Predictor-- Conservation of Primes. I thought of it last night, in the desire to find some mechanism that relieves the Twin Primes, for the twin primes become obnoxious disturbances of finding a prime pattern. But, we can say the same for quad primes or sextet primes the further we go out. So, last night, in sight of these obnoxious primes of twin, upsetting any pattern. I thought of Conservation. So, we jump to 100 number, and we know there are 25 primes below 100 and what I am doing is arbitrarily picking a spot to do a Conservation Pairing, in hopes that the pairing will dissolve the differences of Twin Primes that breaks up so many patterns. I do not know how Ulam's Spiral negotiates with twin primes, but would hazard to guess, Ulam had trouble with twin primes. So in that light, last night I thought of this Predictor 97 + 101 = 198 89 + 103 = 192 83 + 107 = 190 79 + 109 = 188 73 + 113 = 186 71 + 127 = 198 67 + 131 = 198 61 + 137 = 198 59 + 139 = 198 53 + 149 = 202 So that within a span of 50 or so numbers, the Conservation equilibrium point was 198 and varied from 186 to 202. This is the type of pattern that sort of sandpapers away the twin primes as breaking up a pattern, for it incorporates one prime against another prime. Now in the above I went out as far as 11 + 199 = 210 So from 97+101 to that of 11+ 199 the variance was from 186 to 210 which is not much variance. And I shall look to see if I can do something to make the variance much smaller. Now I can jump ahead to say 1000 and do the same there and see if the variance increases or decreases. If I jump to a starting number of 10,000 adding the downward primes to the upward primes, can my Equilibrium point improve? AP
