Every node splits a path into two paths: one incoming path + one node = two separated paths. 1 + 1 = 2. Provably true for all nodes, in the finite and in the infinite. Regards, WM

A proof would imply a 1-1 mapping from the rationals onto the reals and you know perfectly well that you can't construct such an animal. You are a windbag.

What node is in the infinite? None! Your sremark is not only irrelevant but in fact misleading.
> Why do you insist on believing stuff you can't prove?
It can be proved that every node is on a finite level! There we have 1 + 1 = 2.
> A proof would imply a 1-1 mapping from the rationals onto the reals
and everybody should know perfectly well that bijections between infinite sets do not prove anything since my 1-1 mapping between nodes and splits shows either
that there are not more than aleph_0 paths
or, as you just claimed above,
that 1 + 1 = 2 does not hold "in the infinite" (wherever that may be).
How then could 1 - 1 = 0 hold "in the infinite"?
Well, it's time for another nonsense poem from you.
Regards, WM

Just like the infinite septenary (7-ary) tree contains all data in base-7. The binary tree is a kind of a "subset" of the septenary tree since all of the 7-ary data can be represented in 2-ary, humm.... Vise versa... Subset in the sense that the 2 is less than 7 wrt the multiary (n-ary) of the representation? ;^)

Uncountably many paths cannot plug in. Uncountably many paths fits into it, because we can put the paths into a bijection with subsets of natural numbers, which is uncountable, that means it is uncountably many.

Every single sentence above, from Herr Mueckenheim from Hochschule Augsburg demonstrate that he don't know what a bijection is.

No it doesn't, it expresses things within an algebraic structure, nothign about bijections. >that is irrelevant for the presently discussed problem. The discussion is the amount of paths relative to the amount of nodes, and because I can do that as we have a bijection between node levels and natural numbers and bijection between paths and subsets of natural numbers, and union of countably many finite sets is countable, we have that the number of paths is uncountable but the number of ndoes is countable. >We can put the paths in a bijection with the nodes where they are split off. That is the result of a doubted theory and cannot support it.

It is very simple to see:

More separations or plugg-ins than nodes are not possible. This is fact even if matheologians refuse to take note of it.

No. See the figure above. It contains the argument discussed.

Ok we start with the standard definitions Let C be the set of column indexes Let R be the set of row indexes. There is a simple bijection between C and R. Therefore, by definition of cardinality (no cardinality of a set is not defined as the "number" of elements in the set), C and R have the same cardinality. Of course in Wolkenmuekenheim things are different. C and R do not exist except as the only partially defined concept of potentially infinite sets. In Wolkenmuekenheim we have to worry about the "number" of elements in the non existent sets C and R. Now the number of elements in C does not exist but it is infinite. Now for every row, n, the number of elements in R_n is finite, so the number of elements in R must be an unbounded finite number (something which clearly does not exist). Since a finite number must be less than an infinite number (We borrow from Orlovia, using the properties of non-existent objects) we have the number of Columns is smaller than the number of rows. Fun place, Wolkenmuekenheim.

Inside Wokenmuekenheim we have to worry about "naming". It is not enough to show that any element of C can be "named", you need to "name" every element of C.

Note that outside of Wolkenmuekenheim one can show by induction that there is no element of C that cannot be named. The result of the induction is that "for any element c of C, c can be named" which is equivalent to "there in no element of C that cannot be named". However, inside Wolkenmuekenheim the result of the induction is the weaker "You cannot find an element that cannot be named" or equivalently "For any fison of C, F_n, every element of F_n can be named", (Interestingly, we do not need induction to conclude this, inside Wolkenmuekenheim induction does not provide anything). This is not equivalent to "there is no element of C that cannot be named".
