Thank you for your list. The method did not fail as you will find from the extract from my worksheet. Unfortunately you included 231 which is not a prime number but a composite. You also jumbled the numbers - I wonder why? Anyway, I formatted the list in ascending order so as to work on it. Below are the results that I hope will convince you that twin primes can be extracted from your list. I did not check if the numbers used were Prime numbers as others have done this and posted it on Google. Perhaps you will dispute that primes obtained from Prime Number Lists - Math is Fun https://www.mathsisfun.com/numbers/prime-number-lists.html AND https://www.di-mgt.com.au/primes1000.html This was downloaded using the link below. https://www.di-mgt.com.au/primes1000.html Column 'A' is a list submitted by you. EXCEPT THAT YOU DID NOT LIST THEM IN ORDER. (Except that 231 is not a prime number) Column ''B" contains the divisor Column 'C' is the Quotient corrected to the nearest integer and formatted. As you will notice, it shows the twin primes scattered along the column. Only the Twin Primes have equal and unique quotients associated with them Column 'D' is the Quotient formatted to group the found twin primes. Column 'e' shows the twin primes alongside their equal and unique quotients A B C D E 11 3 4 6 17 17 3 6 6 19 19 3 6 64 191 37 3 12 64 193 97 3 32 4 11 127 3 42 12 37 151 3 50 32 97 157 3 52 42 127 191 3 64 50 151 193 3 64 52 157 231 3 77 77 231 231 is NOT a Prime number. I checked in in the preview page and found the columns squashed. As you will notice, Column 'C' shows the equal quotients (and twin primes) scattered along the list. Column 'E' grouped the twin primes in ascending order. Formatting in my worksheet showed the equal quotients and twin primes in highlighted (colored cells). Unfortunately, this did not transfer when the worksheet was pasted. Having the cells highlighted helps in quickly scanning for twin primes. I could e-mail you the worksheet that shows the relevant cells highlighted if you e-mail me at mathdiscoverer@gmail.com
