I used to use it as a screensaver but that was millions of years
ago, in the previous Millennium under Windows 3.11 and ME.

I'm not sure it would work with WinTen but why not just install it
and see? It would only take a few minutes and even if it doesn't
you've still got the ability to create and save millions of gorgeous
images.

I can't run it as it is incompatible with my Win7/64.

 The first linkie,
https://www.screensaversplanet.com/screensavers/themes/fractal does
not mention Fractint.

There is a fractal screensaver called "Fractal Laboratory Screen
Saver". It generates tiny fractal panels onscreen. It's only 2MB and
it does run under Win7/64.

"Freeware fractalgenerator Fractalus" also works fine under W7/64 but
it's not really a screensaver. It does make movies, though, so you
could use the Windows picture screensaver to fake a slideshow.

There are many other fractal-drawing tools. I used to collect some
and they still hang around in a seedy dive on my PC's hard-drive but I
don't run them so often as I used to.

I hope some of this helps.
