Gandhinagar - As a result of ranis since last four days,
44 out of 203 dams in Gujarat have been put under high
alert by the State administration on Wednesday.

According to the State Information Department, the dams
put under high alert have crossed 90 per cent of their
water storage capacity and most of these dams are
constantly receiving fresh water. Moreover, seven other
dams in the State have been put under watch. Another 15
dams in the State may be put under alert depending on the
supply of fresh water.
