I've got two new copies of the our book, signed by Paul and me, up for sale on
eBay, for $80 + $3.99 shipping (the list price is $120). These are 6th
printing, see the eBay link for images and more detail.
www.ebay.com/itm/252563163068 Also see our website
http://artofelectronics.net and if you like, see the errata page,
http://artofelectronics.net/errata/
I've sold 7 signed books this way in the last week, and these are the last two.
I'm offering these books to s.e.d. readers for a discounted $69 each, plus $3.99
shipping. I love you guys! Payment to be by PayPal (although I think you can
use a guest account), to my hill@rowland.harvard.edu account. Please email me
at winfieldhill@yahoo.com or my Harvard email address, committing to buy a book
and I'll accept by return mail and send you the book after payment. Buy one
before the horde of other eBay customers do! Happy reading!

Very much looking forwards to this, Win! I've been holding off on buying one, waiting for a later printing, and this is clearly The Moment. It'll join my honored 2nd Edition copy on my reference shelf.

I still have two signed copies of the 6th printing,
for s.e.d. members only, at $69 + 3.99, as described.

OK, I'll save you a copy. I've ordered more copies
from Amazon and will get / add Paul's signature, so
as to send out 9th printings to y'all who respond
here and by email to me. Then my two 6th-printing
signed copies will go to random other eBay buyers.
Unless you indicate you prefer to take one of the
6th printings to get a few days faster delivery?

That's because I sent it to you directly, there
was no signing party. You had broken your leg,
remember? I figured you had captive down time.

Yes, of course. What are we going to do,
remove your circuit, name and advice?
What, was that all a giant errata? :-))

Good idea- filter out the few remarkably bad ones from the vast ocean of merely bad circuits out there. I've lost count of how many circuits I "borrowed" from such books, only to find that they either had a well hidden fatal flaw, or that they were patented. Permit me to expand on the idea. Divide the book in two major parts. The first is a compedium of admittedly bad designs, but without any indications as to what is wrong with the designs. The second part is an analysis of the circuits (using LTspice) demonstrating the failure mode(s). -- Jeff Liebermann jeffl@cruzio.com 150 Felker St #D http://www.LearnByDestroying.com Santa Cruz CA 95060 http://802.11junk.com Skype: JeffLiebermann AE6KS 831-336-2558

Hidden flaws are cool, fun to explore. Any patents will have
run out. Furthermore, most were for specific applications.
It's hard to patent simple circuits (that should not have
been granted patents), and very expensive to prosecute
violations in court.

Cute! That's what we did with 'Bad Circuits" in the 2nd
edition. We received so many emails asking for solutions,
but what we did was to assert badness, and thereby trigger
massive thought processes in the reader. Ditto for the
exercises. I always sincerely invited a second request,
and promised to provide hints, but rarely got one. I was
ready, really, enjoy emailing, but I suppose that's good.

It's fun to use SPICE, but it's not not instructive.
Evaluation and analytical analysis would be better.

I believe a lot of s.e.d-ers are credited in this new edition. On which pages will I find Bill Sloman's contributions?
