I pay $25 a year to host three web-page domains.
The first costs $11/year, the rest are cheaper.  
Multiple email servers, file-storage, etc., add 
another small annual amount.  I have full access 
to (a fraction of) one of their servers.  I'm
not familiar with the term VPS.  Maybe that's
what I have, however it's very inexpensive.
