I have no clue what is going on or how to fix it. Any ideas? I got a new computer, and no matter what I try, can't get news.eternal-september.org to work with Thunderbird. So only time I see this is on TB 2 on an old desktop. So know myself I've given up on the newsgroups. Still look when I'm downstairs on the old box though.

I forgot what I did with TB but tried to copy my profile from the older desktop without success but they say it could be done. You need your username and pw to get connected to e-s. Maybe something to try is copying your whole TB directory to the new machine. news.mozilla.org has a TB group and people know a lot there.

Close stands I liked to bow hunt are now handicapped only and I'm not handicapped. Fun while it lasted and I like the memories and thinking about it. I think it is the decline of use net that started years ago when major isps stopped free subscriptions and the flood of new people not knowing about how to access or get free access.
