Skyrim is great. I beat the main game and Dawnguard, but I still have to
finish Dragonborn.

How's Diablo 4? Diablo 3 was meh, so I didn't bother getting Diablo 4
when it came out.

Wait, does SKyrim comes with more than one story lines? I am mainly 
focusing the main quest.

#4 is better than #3, but not good as #2 IMO.

Every 3-4 years since I was 14 I've replayed Doom 1 and 2 after it came out
so I'm on my 7th or 8th playthrough at this point and to spice things up a
notch I've modded it out to the nines.  You can see the end result here:

Brutal Doom Black Edition 3.35 [Rain, Parallax, Visor, Relighting].

I've played through all of the levels in the purest oldschool way possible(Only
started using the mouse about 10 years ago) so I feel no guilt in modding it
now and lord is it glorious.

I still play the original, finding some new addon levels every now and
then.  Been wanting to try multiplayer but other players, especially
in Australia are hard to find.  I would play Doom 2016 and newer, but
don't have the hardware.

But really, are the news games actually Doom, or are they just games
which use ideas and capitalise on the IP?

I am actually now playing Doom 2016 for the first time.

Managed to get it working with Proton, although my system
is quite underpowered.  Still nevertheless somewhat
playable.

Enjoying it to some degree so far, but won't be my
favourite of the franchise.
