James Nicoll's recent thread motivates me to search my eBook/deadtree
pulp collection for a Tanith Lee short story. But my enthusiasm quickly
wanes because Lee wrote a lot of short stories and the "click the
isfdb.org story link to see what pulp published it" becomes a drudgery.
The only thing that stands between me and abject failure is one final
google search.
Lucky me, a German website pops up to offer ten Tanith Lee short stories
for free. [1] Ten legitimate, non-pirated Lee stories for free.
Matter of fact, the website seems to offer a centralized catalog of most
all free stories. Some stories link to better known sites such as
Project Gutenberg, Baen Books, and the pulp magazine sites that offer
free access to their Hugo/Nebula nominees. Other stories link to free SF
stories available at unSFnal websites (such as _Nature_ magazine in the
case of one Tanith Lee story).
