I agree with you up to the "if I ever reread" point. I have a lot of books, and those that are mine (as distinguished from Hal's) get reread fairly often. For me to decide about a given book, "No, I don't ever want to read this a second time," and sell it to the usedbookstore, happens. But rarely. If I didn't like the idea of it (from a review or other second-hand source) I generally don't buy it in the first place. Right now my SSI covers my medical prepayments, plugging a hundred back into the savings account, and maybe one book, if I find one that tempts me sufficiently. -- Dorothy J.
