From my perspective it's a story about how smart people get ostracized.
Even world class researchers give Charlie the bum's rush after they
suspect that he's smarter than them.

The notion that a psycho-experimentalist needs to know Hindustani and
Chinese to keep abreast of new developments is interesting. Although
English is the world's de facto lingua franca some documents that
interest me are only available in Chinese.
