The original "lean and mean" short story, novelette, or novella always works best for me. For the present case that means the "Ender's Game" short story that appears in the August 1977 issue of Analog. A copy of an "Ender's Game" DVD recently sat near the top of a pile at the local Walmart's bargain bin. And the price was right. The movie pleasantly surprised me. :0) -- Don Kuenz KB7RPU
