The mayor also confirms that all who were in the shooting are in police custody and that there is no active threat to the community. One of the injured was transported to UNM Hospital for treatment others were taken to Holy Cross Hospital in Taos and a hospital in Denver. State police say Holy Cross Hospital is secured by Taos County Sheriff's Office and Taos Police. Taos curfew The Town of Taos has enacted a mandatory curfew effective until 4:00 a.m. on May 28, 2023 after the shooting in Red River. According to an emergency proclamation issued by Taos Mayor Pascualito Maestas, the emergency order establishes a curfew in effect from 10:00 p.m. on May 27 until May 28 at 4:00 a.m. The order also prohibits all retail package liquor stores and outlets from selling alcohol for the duration of the order. Bars and other establishments that sell liquor or beer will also be prohibited from selling alcohol during the duration of the emergency. Nice going bikers!
