I had a chat minutes ago With "KEP" :) but no, I'm not using VB6
anymore (didn't for many years now), all in all we must follow the
market to stay afloat, and while this doesn't mean that VB6 ia a bad
programming environment, being abandoned and lacking support for the
most recent stuff makes it obsolete and, in a way, dangerous to use in
a production environment, the as usual, YMMV as they once used to say

the source code is useful, since one may consider the idea of updating
the code to the latest APIs amd rebuild the ocx components, for example
the esResolve ocx may be improved by using the DnsQuery_A() API call
which allows to specify different types/classes for the query and using
a user provided DNS resolver instead of the system default
