All errors (new ones prefixed by >>):

   scripts/Makefile.gcc-plugins:17: warning: cannot use CONFIG_KCOV: -fsanitize-coverage=trace-pc is not supported by compiler
>> Cannot use CONFIG_GCC_PLUGINS: your gcc version does not support plugins, you should upgrade it to at least gcc 4.5
   make[1]: *** [gcc-plugins-check] Error 1
   make[1]: Target 'prepare' not remade because of errors.

Hi,

This appears to be "as expected": 4.4 gcc doesn't have either of those
features, so it correctly failed.

OK, I'll teach the robot to use newer compiler for CONFIG_GCC_PLUGINS.
