#1228395 — [PATCH 0/2] v3 ath79 misc irq controller

FromAlexander Couzens <lynxis@fe80.eu>
Date2015-09-19 07:10 +0200
Subject[PATCH 0/2] v3 ath79 misc irq controller
Message-ID<qaizo-8mG-7@gated-at.bofh.it>
Hi,

sorry for the noise, I've overseen the IRQ Chip maintainers.
Hopefully I've now all maintainers in cc.

v3:
remove log line when setup ar7100 misc irq controller
doc: write out {ar7100,ar7240} into two seperate lines

v2:
move new IRQ_DECLARE just behind the new init for ar7100
 don't remove newline
add log line when setup ar7100 misc irq controller
improve commit message for missing irq ack handler

Alexander Couzens (2):
MIPS: ath79: set missing irq ack handler for ar7100-misc-intc irq chip
MIPS: ath79: add irq chip ar7240-misc-intc

Message-ID<qaizo-8mG-9@gated-at.bofh.it>

The ar7240 misc irq chip use ack handler
instead of ack_mask handler. All new ath79 chips use
the ar7240 misc irq chip

That driver should probably move into drivers/irqchip.

Other than that.

Like a fair number of other irq.c type files in arch/mips that could
reasonably easily be rewritten to go to drivers/irqchip.

Thanks, I replaced the previous version of this patch with this one.
