| Message-ID | <q9LWP-38s-33@gated-at.bofh.it> |
Hi, These patches add the missing MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE() for OF to export the information so modules have the correct aliases built-in and autoloading works correctly. A longer explanation by Javier Canillas can be found here: https://lkml.org/lkml/2015/7/30/519 Thanks, Luis Luis de Bethencourt (4): mfd: atmel-hlcdc: Fix module autoload for OF platform driver mfd: hi6421-pmic: Fix module autoload for OF platform driver mfd: max8997: Fix module autoload for OF platform driver mfd: sm501: Fix module autoload for OF platform driver drivers/mfd/atmel-hlcdc.c | 1 + drivers/mfd/hi6421-pmic-core.c | 1 + drivers/mfd/max8997.c | 1 + drivers/mfd/sm501.c | 1 + 4 files changed, 4 insertions(+) -- 2.4.6 -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/

Patches will then stay connected in people's inboxes and are easier to track. > drivers/mfd/atmel-hlcdc.c | 1 + > drivers/mfd/hi6421-pmic-core.c | 1 + > drivers/mfd/max8997.c | 1 + > drivers/mfd/sm501.c | 1 + > 4 files changed, 4 insertions(+) > -- Lee Jones Linaro STMicroelectronics Landing Team Lead Linaro.org │ Open source software for ARM SoCs Follow Linaro: Facebook | Twitter | Blog -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/
