#1225402 — [PATCH v2] ata: pata_macio: Fix module autoload for OF platform driver

FromLuis de Bethencourt <luis@debethencourt.com>
Date2015-09-15 18:40 +0200
Subject[PATCH v2] ata: pata_macio: Fix module autoload for OF platform driver
Message-ID<q91qW-1Tn-23@gated-at.bofh.it>
This platform driver has a OF device ID table but the OF module
alias information is not created so module autoloading won't work.

This patch adds the missing MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE() for OF to export
that information so modules have the correct aliases built-in and
autoloading works correctly.

Hi Tejun,

Other drivers with the same problem are applying this in 4.3-fixes.

I don't think it is critical enough to deserve a cc: Stable.

Thanks for review,
Luis

Applied to libata/for-4.3-fixes.

Thanks!
