#1203587 — [PATCH 1/2] perf record: Support per-event freq term

FromNamhyung Kim <namhyung@kernel.org>
Date2015-08-09 08:50 +0200
Subject[PATCH 1/2] perf record: Support per-event freq term
Message-ID<pVsAF-6A9-7@gated-at.bofh.it>
Now perf can set per-event value of time and (sampling) period. But I
guess most users like me just want to set frequency rather than period.
So add the 'freq' term in the event parser.

perf record: Support per-event freq term

Now perf can set per-event value of time and (sampling) period. But I
guess most users like me just want to set frequency rather than period.
So add the 'freq' term in the event parser.
