Hi list,

since a few days, Oracle's virtalbox repo¹ seems broken. Does one of you have a working URL?

Thanks, Martin

I have always used a direct URL to manually download my copy of
VirtualBox

It's "broken," too. Since Friday or Saturday of last week. No valid
Release file, apt reports. So, updating securely not possible and
therefore disabled. Just have to wait until Oracle corrects the problem.

I'm using Virtualbox 5.2.28 on Stretch. FWIW, when this first happened
noticed VB 6.0.6 was listed in repo. It was gone the next day.

I saw this may be ten days ago, and it said some thing about not authorized. My fear was, that this was somehow related with the new (The Oracle JDK License has changed for releases starting April 16, 2019) Java license policy, where you need an account to get any (production ready) JDK update. Let's see, how this develops.

Thanks to the guy who fixed this!

Verified. apt update no longer generates error with Orale's Virtualbox
repo. Also, Virtualbox 6.0 back in repo.
