Hi - I'm trying to install stretch on a VPS, for which I'm able to
provide an ISO to boot from. But when the (netinst) installer runs, it
can't find the CD - probably because it doesn't know about KVM's virtual
CD drive?

Is there an easy solution to this?

Alternatively, is there a way to boot a VPS (eg from grub) using the
installer over the network, the way virtinst can do it?

Thanks,

Richard

Can you mount the ISO manually from VC2 onto somewhere the d-i
might find it more easily, like /mnt or even /instmnt (though
the latter might annoy d-i more than help it).

Cheers,
David.
