Me neither. I just use one of the (many) Firefox extensions that allow you to
download video (using wheezy-backports firefox-release).

Thanks, both. That seems worth knowing. I have wheezy-backports
firefox-release installed. I must explore the extensions.

Thanks, Anthony. But one way or another iPlayer has never been a problem.
The problem is with channel 4, so the kerfuffle is not for nothing, and teh
problem is not solved.

Though that is good news about iPlayer.

This is becoming painful to hear about. :)

Install Wine. Get the Windows 7 version of flash (NPAPI if you intend
to use Firefox) and the Windows version of Firefox. Use Wine to install
both.

Yes. ;-) I didn't raise it. I was responding to the suggestion that there
isn't a problem. Someone said that the kerfuffle was for nothing, and that
was what I was responding to. But it wasn't Anthony. I have taken my wrists
as slapped.

Thanks. I am worrying about greater things at the moment - like that BIOS
that needs flashing. I haven't time to watch Channel 4 anyway. Happy Valley
being over, I need another fix. Am about to try The A Word, but haven't had
time.

But I hadn't thought of trying this. :-(( I am getting too bogged down and
obsessive. Well, one has to be a little OCD to enjoy communing with
computers. I will give it a try when I have time to do something for me.
(As opposed to for everyone else!)

No wrist slapping (physical violence is not my bag) was intended. Plans
A and B have failed so it seemed Plan C was the next step.

The Scandanavian and French dramas are always worth a try for a legal
high.

There is no Plan D.
