I tried running Synaptic on Wayland, received error "Cannot open display 0.0" . It works fine on native XServer. Any solutions ? Debian Stretch; Synaptic Version 0.83+b1 Regards Himanshu Shekhar

Anyway, if synaptic does does not work with wayland, you should be able to run it in xwayland.
