Hi! I have a really old snapshot in EC2 that I need to make it as volume and mount it to copy some files from it. Unfortunately it is based on Debian Jessie AMI (https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-5pgbnftzmrgec) that cannot be subscribed to anymore thus making it impossible to mount the volume. Are the some known workarounds to this, perhaps a way to activate the subscription after shedding some tears first? BR Janne

Are you able to download the snapshot locally? If so and it’s not encrypted somehow, maybe it can be mounted up somehow. Otherwise, you’re probably at the mercy of AWS. Hi! It seems to be possible to download it locally ( https://rhinosecuritylabs.com/aws/exploring-aws-ebs-snapshots/). First I thought it would not be as it is not an option in web console.
