Not necessarily.
As said - I can continue the installer. And just run the Package Manager
configuration on the live system.

That's what I meant.

Please don't scream.
I have been using Gentoo for about 10 years now. And have been workig with RHEL
for about 5.

However as you can probably guess every distro is unique and different.
And people needs time to get a grip on it.

If you need more info about why I need Debian Sid - please read the
very first post
of this thread. I explained everything there.

As you are working within virtualbox. that would ctrl-f2  and ctrl-f1. 
ctrl-alt-f2 would take you to the host terminal
