Hello

Is there a kernel tuning service in Debian ? I heard it from one
person during a chat. But there is no such service that I know of.

There was such a utility, about 20 years ago, that fixed some of the low
hanging fruit, but progress has obsoleted it.

Now-a-days there are two versions of some of the more popular kernels,
with the other version designed for people who run machinery which often
needs corrective response in case a machine needs correcting quickly, as
in a very few microseconds. They will have an rt in their version names.

Cheers, Gene Heskett

Actually, there is a service called "tuned". I saw it while
researching. The software is written by
Redhat. In fact, his work can be done manually, but for those who do
not know, it can automatically
bring the parameters.
