hi,
I have the following problem with enscript:
I do "enscript --i $MARGIN..... "
but whatever I put in MARGIN (10::: , 10.:::) I get the error message
enscript: malformed float dimension:
google gave me nothing useful
what am I supposed to put?

I believe that you are confusing two different options the Indent option is -i or --indent, whereas the margin option is --margins and they take different inputs. Check the manual.
