Same as QR code? dmtx-utils should be able to do it.
It contains 2 programs: dmtxread and dmtxwrite.

I don't think so. dmtx is for reading and writing Data Matrix 2D
barcodes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_Matrix

My iPhone camera recognizes QR and standard bar code.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QR_code It did not recognize the sample
Data Matrix 2D barcode on the above Wikipedia article.

However, 'Barcode to PC', an app for iOS, did recognize the sample, and
read it correctly.

However, for Long Wind's question:

> which package can convert barcode image to url?

I am going to assume you mean a standard linear bar code, such as an
International Standard Book Number (ISBN).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Standard_Book_Number

apt-cache search 'bar code'
apt-cache search barcode

should give you far more than you really want.

I have used zbar-tools to decode bar codes (ISBNs). I think the limit
on the process is the quality of the camera you use, which is why I went
to 'Barcode to PC'. Of course, that requires a mobile phone.

Can you get a clearer image?

I couldn't read it with zbarimg, but then I loaded it into the GIMP and
sharpened it, and then zbarimg could read it.

After installing imagemagick (and zbar-tools), and reading some man
pages, this worked:

richard@zircon:~$ convert dierge_16.jpg -sharpen 0x3 - | zbarimg -
QR-Code:http://stock.pingan.com/huodong/AnEXZ/down.html
scanned 1 barcode symbols from 1 images in 0.01 seconds

Cheers,
Richard

Really? it's unbelievableqr code in image is in black and white, it's not taken by camera, so no fuzzy logic is needed by decoderimage source: https://stock.pingan.com/static/info/download/app.html
Thank Richard very much!

PS: i have to leave home now.

Strange that they provide a blurry image.
Even stranger that they don't make it an actual html link ... but I
guess the primary purpose is to get the app with your phone.

it's blurry, i open it with gimp and zoom in, it not only uses black and white, but also gray, orange logo in center can also cause trouble for decoder
Correction: QR code (not barcode) is called 2-dimension code in Chinesebarcode is one-dimension code if we name it in the same way

This also worked for me. Thanks, Richard.

My iPhone did decode it correctly, both the native camera and the
'Barcode to PC' app.

They could have provided a larger image. This is only 87 x 86 pixels.
Images I've generated are more like 123 x 123 or 171 x 171.

Note that the file size of mine is an order of magnitude smaller, 484
bytes v. 6457.

qtqr also failed to decode dierge_16.jpg.

Thanks, but my problem has been solved.PS: they use jpeg format, it's not lossless format, that could explain why image is blurry?

That, and possibly they resized it to fit the page.
