Look at the contents of each partition with 'ls (hd0.gpt1)/', 'ls (hd0.gpt2)/' etc to find them. Then at the prompt (if the partition is (hd0.gpt1): set root=(hd0.gpt1) linux vmlinuz root=/dev/sda1 initrd initrd.img boot /dev/sda1 becomes /dev/sda2 if the partition is (hd0.gpt2). If that works it should be easy for us to go from there. -- Brian.
