Well, that's another good reason it won't work.

1. Fix /etc/fstab so it has
PARTLABEL=swap                    none       swap    sw         0       
0

2. Run "sudo swapon PARTLABEL=swap"

3.eben@cerberus:~$ free
              total      used        free      shared  buff/cache   available
Mem:      32294664  27093456     2039172     5259032     8887968     52012
Swap:     50331644         0    50331644
