Ms, Sir, hello.
I have downloaded the version for i386, because my system is a Genion intel (R) CPU, 1.80 GHz with 1G RAM and 32 bit operating system. I wanted to know if the version I've downloaded is compatible 
with my system?

Yes, it is compatible with your system. Depending on the age of the
system, you might be able to use amd64 instead of i386. Please contact
Debian user support channels for help determining if amd64 would work
for you and or if it would be a better fit.
