Hi, Roland Schwarzkopf <rschwarzkopf@mathematik.uni-marburg.de> (2025-06-23): > I'm not sure if this is the right place to report this or if I should > have created a completely new bug report. This is the same bug, except for another version, so that can be tracked with the same report (via appropriate found/fixed metadata). > Stable is also affected by this bug. I'm downloading a post install script > via https from my preseed file, and this does not longer work on stable - > while it still does work on oldstable. I just tested this a few minutes ago: > > Jun 23 12:13:15 log-output: wget: not an http or ftp url: > https://<redacted>/host/post_install.sh > > The wget binary from wget-udeb is also replaced by the symlink from > busybox-udeb. If it were a theoretical problem, I wouldn't be too concerned about it, but seeing how busybox indeed receives rebuilds (or updates) in stable, getting the bugfix in there as well would look like a good idea to me. Maybe it can be batched together with security fixes? (See thread at https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts/2025/05/msg00044.html) Cheers, -- Cyril Brulebois (kibi@debian.org) <https://debamax.com/> D-I release manager -- Release team member -- Freelance Consultant
