Severity: wishlist

Hello,

The Allwinner A64 is affected by a bug that makes the clock jump,
usually 95 years into the future.

The mainline kernel contains a workaround merged for 5.1:
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit?id=c950ca8c35eeb32224a63adc47e12f9e226da241

Please kindly apply this and the corresponding needed DT change for the
buster kernel.

Thanks,
Andrei

This commit was included in 4.19.31, as such it will be in the next
upload for buster which will be based on 4.19.37.

Just added a respective bug closer to this bugreport for the
debian/changelog entry.

Thanks for reporting!

Regards,
Salvatore

This is backported to 4.19.31 upstream:

https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux.git/commit?id=e19ca3fe6cf230a0e5df70da7acade133f2b670c

The debian kernel git repository will include 4.19.37 (or newer) in the
next upload.

The device-tree was patched in the kernel packaging for 4.19.28-1.
