| Subject | Newer kernel for jessie backports |
| Message-ID | <xBxEJ-La-1@gated-at.bofh.it> |
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Hi, In jessie backports there is currently a 4.9 kernel (4.9.110-3+debu5~deb8u1) which is based on stretch 4.9.110-3+deb9u2. Since stretch now has 4.9.144-3.1 are there any plans to make a 4.9.144-3.1~deb8u1 for jessie? I have a piece of hardware that requires the newer kernel but will sadly not be able to upgrade to stretch for a few months. Is there something I can do to help this along? Thanks! - -- - -- arthur - adejong@debian.org - http://people.debian.org/~adejong -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJcikV0AAoJECqLdGgQ4K/B63MP/22ygMyWyzIv3vUdrL5gT7B7 mJRoSf/r2Shb85bcsuCwiJhW1AZSHpg1BPx/qztbB/k2QMy3BhII7wHMszEM7cmA 6s7ISNx8JTFWSFUWt5oL63+G9N+ePZj8Hmkow3INiU1grPBFbc+vghImw9sRnglz 4s/0fE97IpaPXSh913Tj7qvpsuWXEc5eLxJTOj7Z+Yg4rI0x378icIfHaeJnFF0Q D1a4j0WYVjUbTkiPg9YIQdP9jUvKw0BRDqdNonYm4jV5bTE63miV7cV6o15yIyha o+wZivhd/lCJTkBRViWa72CHrDPyAsrtUG5YMCdVJAxbMxQBaHLIypq4RRQD1wU1 qrF77dctADc7MjnNVG0IVjfgeniu3ozbIZJJ4J84fdm/CQ9UoATf51xPPVipM7Kg ic0OZ32enJF1Y4bAnviDnvc2wxaxJudUYxALFtOeFe7RK8QrRDFrHAT1TBShIzfK i4wnVK3DAR6DDvIu61GiYIe0M/q3GxUHJzqFKh9cdzDANamO90LSx0uPUab2ESeW BxscwW3LCvHDltPBXdZltCnKY88+RERnSoK+G0qP9gHbPStUhgw07Gfw/a17It4m xM6AMmyeEFhaDweKTuezK5UOgCFn3XspIfmpvkfMjXlhmV3kp2G2y2Q6n/25xLFY L73o9/IO/r14kPku1Hsm =cqSr -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

This kernel is maintained through Debian LTS now, please contact
debian-lts@lists.debian.org instead.
Cheers,
Moritz
