Package: linux Version: 4.11.11-1 Severity: wishlist Hi, please enable CONFIG_USB_DUMMY_HCD so to build dummy_hcd.ko module. It would really help me "[...] in some stages of creating a driver to embed in a Linux device, since it lets you debug several parts of the gadget driver without its hardware or drivers being involved." Kind regards, Domenico

If you're doing kernel development, you can enable this in the kernel you build. Am I missing something? Ben. -- Ben Hutchings Never put off till tomorrow what you can avoid all together.

Am I missing something? My hope is that I can use it to build a fake gadged device, which I need for application development. Of course I tried to build my kernel but it was not booting my Debian any more, then I run out of steam and moved onto a physical device. Still I'd like to make the trick, if possible. Maybe I've got it wrong. Thanks, Domenico -- 3B10 0CA1 8674 ACBA B4FE FCD2 CE5B CF17 9960 DE13
