Hi list, We've experienced lock-ups at boot time as well. After upgrading to 3.16.51-2 the system would just hang at loading the RAM disk. Reverting back to 3.16.43-2 seems to solve the issue. Relevant configuration: Supermicro X10DRi motherboard with two LSI Logic / Symbios Logic SAS3008 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-3 (rev 02) HBAs. Sorry for the "me too" but hopefully it helps some.
