Hi! I'm also affected by this bug in Debian Stretch. The problem seems to be fixed in newer Kernel versions since the problem does not occur in Debian testing (Kernel 4.11). I highly appreciate it if this patch would be backported since this bug introduces a system instability and leads to data loss and possibly data corruption.
