Dear Maintainer,

Please enable CONFIG_SND_SOC_INTEL_BYT_MAX98090_MACH=m - it is necessary for audio on certain Baytrail hardware.

(I note that it is also necessary to set CONFIG_DW_DMAC=y (not m) for this, although I don't understand why.)

Thank you,

Ivan

This is an upstream regression.  It is simply not possible to select
all the Intel SoC sound drivers any more.  It seems that some
developers don't care to support a generic distribution configuration.

I believe that is supposed to be fixed by commit a395bdd6b24b ("ASoC:
intel: Fix sst-dsp dependency on dw stuff"), but I haven't verified it.

Looks like it's destined for v4.8 and not yet backported to any stable
kernel, though. Which is a bit odd given the "Fixes" tag..

That fixes the DW_DMAC dependency, but we also have some drivers
selecting SND_SST_IPC_ACPI and others (including this one) depending
on SND_SST_IPC_ACPI=n.
