I intend to upload linux version 4.5.1-1 to unstable shortly after 4.5.1 is released (which will likely be late on Tuesday in UTC). The major changes are: - New upstream version - The linux-tools source package has been merged in. No more version skew, no more missing linux-kbuild. - Securelevel and module signature verification (but signed modules will not be available until several other packages are added or updated) - [amd64] The AC'97 sound drivers disabled in 4.4 have been re-enabled - [arm64] Better support for Qualcomm SoCs - [armhf] Support for Vivante GPUs through the etnaviv driver - [mips] Better support for new Cavium Octeon SoCs - [x86] Boot- time option for kASLR Ben. -- Ben Hutchings I'm always amazed by the number of people who take up solipsism because they heard someone else explain it. - E*Borg on alt.fan.pratchett
