Package: src:linux Version: 7.1.12-1 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer, As several other distros have done in the previous years [ref1], it would be good to configure DMA to bypass the IOMMU by default. This is recommended for performance, for example for MinIO [ref2] [ref3]. This can be done with: CONFIG_IOMMU_DEFAULT_PASSTHROUGH=y Regards Mathieu Parent [ref1] https://lenovopress.lenovo.com/lp1467.pdf#G3.499858 [ref2] https://docs.min.io/aistor/installation/checklists/hardware-tuning/#memory [ref3] https://docs.min.io/aistor/operations/performance-tuning/#bootloader-settings
