thank you for your time and effort in supporting debian.

we are performing an FAI install where the dhcpd is supplying
rfc3442-classless-static-routes.  this causes errors and the
networking doesn't come up properly:

this shellcheck quoting was introduced in:

the attached patch file reverts the problematic quoting and after the
initramfs is rebuilt the networking comes up properly.
