The package firmware-qcom-soc in trixie-backports depends on package firmware-qcom-dsp which is only available in unstable/testing.

[root]~ # apt -m install -t trixie-backports firmware-qcom-soc
Solving dependencies... Error!
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

Unsatisfied dependencies:
 firmware-qcom-soc : Depends: firmware-qcom-dsp (>= 0~20251125-1~) but it is not installable
Error: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
Error: The following information from --solver 3.0 may provide additional context:
   Unable to satisfy dependencies. Reached two conflicting decisions:
   1. firmware-qcom-soc:arm64=20260110-1~bpo13+1 is selected for install
   2. firmware-qcom-soc:arm64=20260110-1~bpo13+1 Depends firmware-qcom-dsp (>= 0~20251125-1~)
      but none of the choices are installable:

Adding insult to injury, the former trixie-backports package version 20251111-1~bpo13+1 has now disappeared and leaves much older package version 20250410-2 as only viable option.

[root]~ # apt policy firmware-qcom-soc

Please either downgrade the firmware-qcom-soc package to 20251111-1~bpo13+1 or make firmware-qcom-dsp available.

Thanks!

I know, but there were other firmware updates that I think were needed
in trixie-backports. This is a temporary situation.

All old versions are still available on snapshot.debian.org, though I
appreciate that it is not convenient to install from there.

That is not possible.

I have already contacted the maintainers for that package, and this
*should* happen soon.
