Is this something you still can reproduce with current kernels, so 6.12.43-1~bpo12+1? Can you easily take out the server for maintenance, and so do further experiments, assuming you can reproduce it with 6.12.43 based kernel, does 6.16.7-1 as well still expose the problem? If yes: Can you bisect the changes between 6.1 upstream and 6.11 upstream to identify the commit which changes things for you? (do you need instructions on how to proceed on bisection?). Regards, Salvatore

Hi Salvatore, I have some servers of this type and in the next weeks I will put two more in production. So I will try: * Latest kernel from backports for bookworm. * If fail, try lastest from unstable, * If fail, try with upstream kernel. Then we talk about bisect the upstream kernel with the previous knowledge. Hi, I have tried with two new kernels from backports and now works. Kernels names: linux-image-6.12.32+bpo-amd64 6.12.32-1~bpo12+1 linux-image-6.12.43+deb12-amd64 6.12.43-1~bpo12+1 This R660 will wait some more days before going to production. Want me to try more kernels? Kind regards Jose M Calhariz On Mon, Sep 22, 2025 at 06:56:51PM +0100, Jose M Calhariz wrote: > Hi Salvatore, > > I have some servers of this type and in the next weeks I will put two > more in production. If feasible I would suggest to go to Debian trixie for production. Regards, Salvatore
