Control: tag -1 + moreinfo Hello, On Wed, Aug 13, 2025 at 01:14:51AM +0200, Peter Müller wrote: > Package: src:linux > Version: 6.12.38-1 > Control: affects -1 gnome gnome-control-center nvidia-driver > > The machine on which the bug occurs is a desktop PC with a graphic card NVIDIA PΛLiΤ GeForce GTX 1660 in a PCIe slot (to which a monitor is connected via DVI output) and a chip ASPEED AST2500 64MB on the motherboard (this chip provide VGA output, but no monitor is connected to the VGA socket). I run gnome 1:48+2 with libmutter-16-0 48.4-2 on xorg 1:7.7+24 in Debian trixie. The proprietary nvidia-driver 550.163.01-2 is in use. Can you please provide the output of: journalctl -k or dmesg ? Best regards Uwe

Further, nvidia-driver is no longer installed, but I can search for the older boots in the journal (from the time when it was installed).
