In case it is useful, I added some logging in and around snd_acp6x_probe() in sound/soc/amd/yc/pci-acp6x.c and got the following information: snd_pci_acp6x 0000:c3:00.5: pci->revision=112 snd_pci_acp6x 0000:c3:00.5: acp-audio-config-flag=0 snd_pci_acp6x 0000:c3:00.5: flag snd_amd_acp_find_config(pci)=16 When I add logging to acp6x_probe() in sound/soc/amd/yc/acp6x-mach.c, no logs are output. This was with kernel 6.12.9. My last message was misleading. It's not that acp-audio-config-flag is 0, but rather that reading it was successful. Let me try this again, and using hex values that are probably more familiar: [ 5.692748] snd_pci_acp6x 0000:c3:00.5: pci->revision=0x70 [ 5.692828] snd_pci_acp6x 0000:c3:00.5: read acp-audio-config-flag: success [ 5.692855] snd_pci_acp6x 0000:c3:00.5: acp-audio-config-flag value: 0x10

After updating alsa-ucm-conf from upstream (overwrote /usr/share/alsa/ucm2 from the latest at https://github.com/alsa-project/alsa-ucm-conf), the device is recognized as a digital mic. Would it be possible to get these kernel configs enabled for amd64 in 6.12 bookworm backports and 6.13 trixie?
