i would run sid on octeontx2

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
boot up the stock kernel

   * What was the outcome of this action?
no network interfaces except lo

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
CONFIG_OCTEONTX2_AF=m
CONFIG_OCTEONTX2_PF=m
CONFIG_OCTEONTX2_VF=m
should be enabled to have networking
