| Subject | Bug#1049987: linux-image-6.4.0-1-amd64: Headphones not detected after suspend or lid close on laptop |
| Message-ID | <H3Tvr-2AhP-9@gated-at.bofh.it> |
Package: src:linux
Version: 6.4.4-2
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: adpg.611@gmail.com
The bug was found on a Dell Vostro 3405 with a Cirrus CS8409/CS42L42
audio card. When I plug in my hands-free headphones after waking the laptop
from suspension or opening my lid, the audio keeps playing from the
speakers, my headphones remain quiet, and the mic isn't detected either.
I tried changing to the headphones' sink in Pulseaudio, but it wouldn't
play any sound. I checked through acpi_listen and evtest and noticed
plugging the headphones would trigger events before suspend, but not
after.
