You might need as well the firmware-iwlwifi package from backports
with the nwer kernel.

Can you please update that and report back?

Salvatore

Thanks, Salvatore.

It took a while to get that version installed with no internet on that
kernel, but I got there.

It has fixed the issue. So, I assume that version will roll into future
Stable releases.

Regards, Pete

Thanks for the confirmation.

It will be in trixie yes; but if for bookworm you rely on the
backports for the kernel, you sometimes you will need to go as well
with firmware from backports (like in this case).

Glad it helped.

Regards,
Salvatore
